HEALTH & BEAUTY :: EXERCISE
Years ago (when I tried to lose a lot of weight! & luckily I did! hehe) I always run on the threadmill for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week! It was very tiring but its a good way to help me to lose weight & maintain healthy. Although running is good, it can be boring especially if you are running on the same spot for hours!
Since nowadays I don't really have time to run on the threadmill for hours (& also the threadmill is already broken), doing different type of activities also helps me to maintain my weight & stay healthy. Below are some of the activities that I did & some I recommend for all of you to try.
WALKING
Walk! Walk! Walk! Park your car further & walk to your destination! Take the stairs! Just moveeee!!!
KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is realllyyyy goooddd!! I sweat a lot while doing kickboxing! Its also interesting!! So just try it!
PLAY SQUASH
Playing squash with friends is a good way to exercise & to spend time with your friend (or with whoever you are playing with)
BODY COMBAT
I haven't tried body combat before but it looks interesting!! Would like to try it someday! Body combat is actually a mixture of aerobic & kickboxing. A very good way to lose weight!!
DANCING
Dancing is an interesting way to lose way. Aside from enjoying yourself, can can burn a lot of calories!
CYCLING
Cycling for hours with friends (or whoever) is a good recreational. Plus, its good for the stomach & legs muscle!
FLAT TUMMY WORKOUT
THE PLANK: Rest on elbows and knees. Have elbow just below shoulders. Keep tummy tight. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat twice.
THE CRUNCH: Lying on back, hands resting on shoulders. Using stomach muscle, lift shoulders off the floor. Hold for a second & lower. Do 20 repetition.
